Quid a piece. :?: Always amazes me the mindset of 'rare car = mega money manual'Quite the opposite, the manuals that make the most coin are for those still in general circulation and which are entering the DIY-keen sub £2000 bracket

Thought the Escort one might have been worth at least £2.50 tho! :lol:Although, the chances of manuals outlasting the cars is great as manuals do not rust, so I guess the rarer the car, the more worthless the manual! Oh well, worth a try!

The manuals in circulation outnumber the surviving examples of the model sometimes

They're probably not worth anything... I know the small collection I have aren't. In the case of rare cars, there's probably ten manuals for each vehicle. I have given manuals away to people on forums, and in return been given other manuals. They're like Pokémon cards for Autoshitists.

Not worth a light. If given these at the local charity shop I work in, I would bin all of them except maybe the Mk5 Escort one, which is worth £1 to someone with a Mk5 Escort who wishes to repair it! Anything that is not Haynes is total shit anyway, (Autodata - softcover? being the worst).Time for the recycling bin, I'm afraid, Panda.

Hardcover books are fine. Softback's rot away in damp garages.

Proper soft cover (old) Haynes are where its at! To quote this photo caption from my A35 manual which was actually written by a certain J.H. Haynes..."Although the engine is fairly heavy it is not difficult to carry short distances. In this case it was carried up four flights of steps to the authors workshop"Don't make 'em like they...etc.
