Event Sidcup (Kent) meet Sunday 24th July 11am

RobT has kindly brought back my new* Mondeo wheels from shitefest, and I'm going to drive up to meet him in lovely Sidcup on Sunday 24th July - aiming to handover around 11am.

 

Agreed to meet at Sidcup Place (Brewers Fayre pub) that generally has a reasonable amount of parking, and not far off the A20.

 

Any Kent/London/Essex shitters want to turn it into a bit of a mini-meet? 

 

Its probably not big enough to accommodate a fleet - but if half dozen turn up and buy a tonic water from the pub sure it will be fine

Mind if I keep tabs too. I'm unlikely to make it, but on the off chance I can I'd be interested. Will be in Ashford over the weekend for familial stuff, and will probably want to escape at some point!

Parking used to be free (I used to live round the corner from here a decade or more ago) - but it might be paid for now.

Is that a pub where you have to pay to park, never heard of that before?

Sorry - I think it is free, it's just Bexley council lists it as a pay and display on their website, oddly. Just didn't want to surprise people if you did have to pay, London innit?

It states free parking on the webpage under 'Facilities' although it may be one of those pubs that reimburse your parking charge if you eat there.

If I get the chance this weekend I'll go and take a look, as it's only 20 minutes from me.

Pub parking is free, but there's some pay and display opposite near the green so don't park there.

 

Car park isn't huge but should be enough spaces available at 11am I'd have thought.
