I recently pulled this out of a shed where it has been untouched since Sept 2000 , i tried gently by hand to turn the engine without plugs fitted but was stuck so i filled the bores with diesel and put the plugs back in  , in the week if i get time i will see if the diesel has drained through and top them back up again ,  i am in no rush
