classics as garden ornaments

These two Austin Sevens have been stood outside as hotel garden/car park ornaments for years... haven't turned a wheel for years and sit out all year round. Located in Ballymena, Norn Iron! One is still pretty mint, the other is showing signs of fatigue. Such a shame... They deserve better.

Poor old things need to be driven & there are lots of good roads around there.

Green ones mint! Blue ones really really good, but could do with a bit of loving.

Sad to see.  Anyone that thinks cars of any age can be left outside is basically wrong.  Use 'em, sure, but keep 'em dry when not in use.

Both filler caps have been stolen and rain water gets in the fuel tanks. It's painful to watch.

I know a camping shop which has an Austin A35 Van with its name perminantly parked outside

Don't these cars go for a small fortune? Odd to see them permanently outside. :?

I'm fine with this. They are plentiful and every part can be bought new.

There's also a mint minor van parked outside a house advertising the owners business close by. It's proper nice and parked up, and also never ever moves. He used to have a minor pick up for the same purpose. It rotted away... I'll get picks

A local garage near me have a Morris Minor pickup as their advertising, it sits outside their gate all day, and goes in at night. I don't know if they fire it up and bring it in, or drag it about with something else, but if it gets fired up for 4 seconds twice a day, the poor thing must be fucked

The local ASM have a taxed and tested NuBeetle (w plate) that they stick around the major routes in and out of town randomly, sign written up.

Would the camping shop be jackson's of old arley as I've seen they have one too.

The truck and A40 sold on eBay around 12 months ago. The Anglia is still there.

This at least is kept out of the elements:

This had to be restored a couple of years ago as it was falling to bits

The Heartbeat A40 and J type were sold on eBay in early 2014. The J Type sold for 4k, so someone out there must have had good intentions. The £245 sale price of the A40 wasn't quite as impressive - cheap plate donor?

This has been on the roof of a business premises in Northampton for decades.  I'm not too good on yank tank recognition.  What is it?

Love this mini. ......

Changing the bushes on a mini always was a sod of a job.

Some sort of Buick if I remember rightly. There was also a Citroen garage in Northampton that had half a 2CV on the roof for years but I think it''s long gone now.
