Fiat Coupe 20 VT Oil Cooler Pipes

Recommended Posts

I am having to replace the oil cooler pipes and the cooler in my coupe.

I can find a cooler on the bay but the pipes are of pure unobtainium.  There are companies offering uprated coolers and pipe kits but they are v expensive. I know that this is a long shot, but does anyone have a set or know anyone with a set?  (I'd rather not go down the second hand route.)

Thanks

Can you not get some pipes made up by pirtek or similar?

20 odd years ago I got some fresh flexis crimped on steel oil cooler pipes for a Kawasaki GT550 as Kawasaki wanted £180 for a pair of them at the time. Doing so was about a third of the cost.

When mine failed I used a bit of high pressure hose to get home, then took the pipes to my nearest Commercial type ( Moting & repairing lorries etc) and they made me a pair for £40. Still on it, 6 years later.

Local agri engineer could make up or repair old pipes . Or as suggested earlier Pirtec or Hydroscand

Another vote here for Pirtec.

When my hydralic clutch pipe failed on my old Saab 9000, pirtec charged me about £20 to repair and crimp on a new flexi section.
