So finally Kitten Buyer arrived and left avec kitten and sans a wodge of cash. Off to collect the Puglet - which conveyance to take?

Ended up in the Dacia as Mrs Seal wanted to take the opportunity to go shopping as we would be in town.

Nice day for a collection as there was a strange glowing orb in the sky

Got to the ferry terminal to be handed a comedically small key and after a wander round be greeted by this sight

I drove it round to where Mrs Seal was waiting to be greeted by her doing a facepalm and the words 'I can see why he was giving it away' which I thought harsh on the Puglet. It drives very nicely and I love it. Much gratitude goes to Ben for roffle, Mike and Neil for transportation. Full Road Test report a la Old Top Gear to follow.

Home after being pressed into service bringing home 9 bags of compost and various bags of shopping.

I am genuinely really pleased with it, it's a properly good little car and I'd go so far as to say it's more comfortable than the Granada. Who'd have thought that not only would I ever own a 205 diesel but that it'd make me grin driving it Verdict 294/10 - would buy again

You need some shelf string hatch grommets and some throttle spindle seals. Then it's perfect.

The 205 is a top little car in all its guises and cannot fail to disappoint.  Great to see this one pressed immediately into service.

How do you find the whole Logan experience?

 

To me... the whole Dacia thing is of great interest.

I just find it hilarious that you used the smallest car in your fleet to carry a heap of compost...

 

I mean, it's not like you've got a fucking bus for carrying stuff, is it?

I really rate the Logan, it's got the same 989cc 3-cylinder Turbo engine as Mrs Seals old Clio but it seems far more spritely in the Dacia. Interior is a bit plasticky but the boot is huge and it retails at over £5,000 cheaper than the Clio. Verdict - would recommend as future shite
