I never knew my car would be a talking point

I was out and about this morning and went into a shop. The person serving goes "how long have you had your vitesse?"

I said I'm surprised you know what it is.

He started saying that is a lovely looking car and you must look after it.

I've had this a few times now and I think it's a great feeling rather than oh it's a rover so must be shite.

 

I've had people coming up to me in my 75 stating how lovely they are.

When I had my 800 Vitesse everyone told me how their boss had one. Same for the SD1 although the blokes are older.

They do stand out a bit these days, you can't help but notice them as the styling on them is finally starting to age against the modern backdrop.  They also look big for an old car, which makes them more noticeable.

My Sterlings have been noticed so many times, particularly the Mk1s. I used to feel quite chuffed by this but I'm more a bit 'meh' about it these days.
