On coils/no ACE/18" alloys

7 seater

 

9 months Mot

Rear of chassis done in usual place for MoT

Body has usual selection of dings/creaks etc etc

164 k on clock

Rear step present and functioning!

Tow bar/single electrics

EGR still fitted and working

 

 

Wear on drivers outer seat bolster

Rear door hinge pins worn

Tyres all fairly low 3-4 mm

Random selection of dash lights inop - on list to do

Rear prop doughnut a bit meh - on list

Usual drip from gearbox/transfer box join.

Clutch judders a bit when cold

Usual box baulk into 2nd when cold - ok when warm.

Engine cover missing

ECU cover missing (by that I meant I drove over it...)

Average of a tank of Heavy Oil ('diesel') of a smidgin over 29 mpg. Remap works wonders apparantly (it's standard still)

I (swmbo) would 'prefer' a Auto. Very strongly.

 

They are, and I am looking at a replacement as we speak.

Ah, I still miss the Disco II TD5 my parents had.

 

It had TWO sunroofs, but it expired about 4 or 5 years ago due to being condemned for rot by the MOT man. It was lovely to drive though, in a wallowy kind of way. Also made an awesome noise.

That looks like a good old barge for the money! I run around in a very late 2004 model as a daily, and I've just scrapped an X reg V8 auto with engine failure amongst other issues.

 

The no sunroof bit appeals muchly, I've done a 'Blue Peter' on mine and have covered both with sticky back plastic to keep the rain out til we get dry enough weather for me to sort them properly.

 

No ACE and no air is definitely the way forward too!

 

Could have sent you a rear door hinge for a couple of quid but can't now! Still have a stash of parts which I'll eventually eBay, so if there's anything you need pre-sale give me a shout!

It's green, with no olli shite on it.

 

Except the windscreen, which has 'Beacuse Landrover' verticaly down n/s. utter toss - so I left it on.
