Honda CB1

Evening all,

Rightio you all know i'm rubbish at this BUT here goes, I'm selling this little Honda CB1 400 as in all honesty it's too clean for me to be using everyday for work, and I've got a Transalp that needs some money spending.

So pictures:

Only damage on the bike :

Details:

1991 Honda Cb1 400 (NC27)
New disc and pads (Wavy rear disc)
Calipers refurbished with HEL braided brake lines
Stainless steel exhaust
Oxford heated grips
MPH speedo' converter
Front forks have just been overhauled
Fully serviced
Recent new chain and sprockets
Avon Road-rider tyres are pretty new also.
And probably of no use, but it has a nice slick 6 speed gearbox, along with no worries about timing chains etc, as the cams are gear driven, so makes a lovely noise when you start to use the rev range.

As i say, I'm only selling this as it would be a waste for it to start collecting dents / scrapes etc when taking it to work, and the Transalp needs a new exhaust, along with some other bits.
Would ideally like £895 of your earth pounds, but might be interested in a swap for a 600 (If i can sell something else in the mean time)
Located in Wirral.

Its that time of year - lob it on shitebay - you may be surprised what somebody will pay for a clean 400....

That's the finest example I've seen of a cb1 since they were brand new.

The last picture reminds me of how bad the chain adjusters are.

Some cb1's and cbrs corroded so badly that people resorted to cutting the rear spindle up to get them out

Norralorra help Im afraid but that looks bloody lush and GLWTS.

Im after another 125 or something smallish but with enough ooomp[h to lug my fat arse around to stash away at the caravan so that I have some transport up there to nip to the shops and shizzle when the missus abandons me up there [serious womblage thoughts of becoming a one car family again].

This would be far to nice to leave under a tarp in Cumbria.
