My Poverty spec 1.2 Clio I owned back in 2014. Shitter of the finest quality. Took her on a trackday at Knockhill during a downpour, with tyres that were just road legal (Racing slicks...).

This thing got so much abuse in my ownership yet took every bit of it. Honestly miss her...

Seen at Brands Hatch the other year. I was impressed!

All Junkman's posts and he left out this pair of over weight rally cars.

The P6's were moderately successful in showroom classes for a couple of years due to reliability, never due to out right pace.

If I remember correctly, most of this is heavily modified Range Rover under the skin.

Never understood why more wasn't made to use LHM on race tracks, the potential ability to pressure up one side or end of the system based on steering, braking, throttle, could have been world beating.

Hard where the weight is, soft where it isn't, continually changing for the attitude of the car.

I would have said that the lack of a suitable engine was the problem, but it didn't stop Peugeot.

From an online article (I've translated it from american):

"Unique 1970 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, 1981 Paris-Dakar Rally entered, 2 door coupe, Toyota BJ/FJ 45 LWB chassis V8 Chevy 350 CI engine, 4 speeds. 4X4. Monocoque fibreglass body. Doors, bonnet, boot in aluminium. Roll cage. Racing seats. Fuel tank 400 litres. Power steering. Restored and ready to vintage race! Car visible in Paris France

The car only raced once in the Paris-Dakar, broke about halfway through and was disqualified, but still somehow finished. Only 40 of the 170 vehicles entered in the race finished that year.
