Stupid knee-jerk reaction, DELETE part of American history.Because one arsehole/murderer draped himself with the con/flag.

Think they've still got the con-flag up at the site of the old wool import company that ran the blockade the "DAM YANKEES" enforced to try to stop the Southern/confederate trade with the UK. A lot of Liverpool based ships impounded or sunk,so that Con/flag is part of our history aswell.

Them yankees put a lot of people on the scrapheap in the North West of England.

I personally don't think the Confederate Flag is ALL ABOUT SLAVERY.........(there I've mentioned it)

Eye wipe!

You're both correct I'm sure, only that there are special interests who have recently demanded and won the confederate flag's removal, and the civil war was very complex in its causes and effects. I don't fully understand them all myself. But slavery was just one of the issues, and my observation, FWIW, is simply that flying the stars & bars on US soil is no longer advisable.

As for the model kit, I had one as a kid. I didn't buy the last one I saw because I thought they had removed the decal. Maybe I should reconsider; after all, that show is a childhood memory of mine.

I've got some pics of a similar car, I'll post them up when I CBA.

I definitely need to scratch the muscle car itch. The current Challenger is absolutely drop dead gorgeous, obviously in Hellcat spec.  (And I'd say the Challenger is the real successor to a '69/'70 Charger, because the modern Chargers are absolutely pants (I had a 6-pot from Hertz last year).

I have a phase II .. it scratches my itches. Feels like a heavyweight on fat tyres. So, about right. The loud pedal works also. Despite that, driven like Granddad it'll pull 35 UK mpg on a run.

Er, seventy was fast enough, officer. Gets there quickly enough, in a straight line. Corners surprisingly well. I could tolerate driving it in the UK.

A Dodge challenger ?  charger?  knocked my friends valuable Camaro  off at Brands ..  @ 4 . 40 ..bustard !

I admire the patience of the guy in the camera car.

That stupid git in the green Challenger wouldn't have made more than two attempts to block me, before I'd have shoved him up a crash barrier,

clear as a whistle. What a tosser.

I totally sympathise. I broke my new Sony experia and had to go back to using my old iPhone and I couldn't find the charger anywhere.
