Dick Cheeseburger Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Possibly the worst use of nine minutes ever. If you like dull, you'll love this. Basically, I recommend you don't watch it. You have been warned.
UltraWomble Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Utter shite, I like the interior though. Not a great lot of "starting" action going on
bub2006 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Strange spec,I love the seats too. Leather and ac but no rev counter.
Des Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 What a dick. Or is dragging around a flat battery to see a derelict motor not start the new rock and roll?
Lord Sterling Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 What a dick. Or is dragging around a flat battery to see a derelict motor not start the new rock and roll?I find it strangely interesting to be honest. There does seem to be a ton of these kind of vids on YouTube, though I admit I do skip passed the boring bits like walking around the car and looking at tyres etc.. I saw a couple of vids recently about a Volvo 940 being restarted after 10 years of sitting in damp field in Sweden or similar.

I saw a couple of vids recently about a Volvo 940 being restarted after 10 years of sitting in damp field in Sweden or similar. This is why I clicked on it in the first place. I love the 'first start in 30 years' type shenanigans, but with the Lanos I was expecting a couple of seconds of turning over, a puff of blue, then straight down for an MOT or whatever the Amuricans call it. The lad filming this was a bit of a chocolate teapot in contrast. He struck me as the sort that if his front door lock jammed as he tried to leave the house, then he'd sit down and give up trying to escape via other exits.
Matt Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 There does seem to be a ton of these kind of vids on YouTube The guy in the video OP posted is the one that kicked it all off basically. This is one of his REALLY early videos. I used to be subscribed to him back then but his videos got a bit boring when he started making them more professional and uniform. He's done Koenigsegg's, a La Ferrari, Bugatti Veyron and all sorts of oddball things now. This flat purple DS with spiral wheel trims for example:
Lacquer Peel Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I like this one from serial XUD fiddler Darren Lobb - starting a hanging 505 GTI that's been abandoned for close to two decades. UltraWomble, Vince70, Conrad D. Conelrad and 3 others 6
jakebullet Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I like the ones with ladies wearing improbable shoes and strangely revealing tops who have problems getting cars to start. PhillipM, Lacquer Peel and Eric 3
UltraWomble Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I like the ones with ladies wearing improbable shoes and strangely revealing tops who have problems getting cars to start.Thats on Red Tube not You Tube
