Autoshite Xmas prezzies

I didn't get anything Autoshitty this year, but I got the missus this: Its a 4.5 inch shell casing dug up from a field in Ypres. I thought it might be the appropriate thing to display our tower of London poppy in. I didn't know whether to clean it or not, In the end decided not to. It's still got traces of mud in it. When she opened the present. There was a wtf moment, and then I started to explain. Holding it in her hand she suddenly got a bit tearful. I felt quite moved myself.

Along with some other stuff my dad gave me a old compressor from the back his shed, he hadnt even bother to clean it and wrapped it up in a potato sack and duck tape!

 

 

I also got a model of a black Dolomite.

 

 

And Mrs Trigger has bought Goodwood Revival weekend tickets again.

We all agreed not to buy each other crap this year. The ladies in my life were very generous to me this year. They must be after something. No doubt!

 

My dear long suffering lady got me some very tasty ratchet spanners.

 

 

 

And Maw got me a nice new vice. Been fitted and already seen some action. Hopefully I don't break this one.

 

 

Sis got me some DVDs

 

Plus the usual suspects.

 

All in all a good result.

Nice haul - hope you havent mounted that vice like my brother did . The rear jaw set back from the edge of the bench so you couldnt drop a pipe etc down through the jaws . Doh !

Clarke 240V impact gun & buried in my dad's garage not being used was a Lincoln (not very) Compact 185 welder. Cheers dad!
