Through a chain of events I won't bore you guys with, My other half (and therefore me) have been charged with disposing this car on behalf of a relative.

What I know: 2013 Mini Cooper diesel Clubman Park lane edition. Colour: Black. 1 owner. No idea of Mileage

Looked clean enough last time I saw it.

Anyone know book values?

There's a 2013 Mini Clubman Bond Street on evilbay at £13450 at the moment.  50k on the clock and from a trader

Non special edition Clubman Coopers between £11k and £12.5k

Lot will depend on mileage, engine type etc.  Tried parkers on-line guide?

Yeah I tried parkers, but you have to register and I've a bit of a phobia about it.

Pretty sure it's a 1.6D, the mileage will be low as it's been run by an elderly couple.

I should add that I'm not seeing any of the proceeds

Only if you adjust things. I've just run it myself and given them my email that I use when I suspect spam is going to follow to see the valuation...

Based upon 30k (average miles).

If it's low mileage, excellent nick, full paperwork/history then I'd whack it up for £12,995 and aim for £12,500 or £12,300 for a quick sale.

Tried getting pissed, connecting a roulette board to your rev counter then throwing darts at it blindfolded? You'd probably get more accurate results than Parker's.

We have a 60 plate Cooper auto petrol, 2 previous owners, 16k miles, it was up for £10k at first, reduced to £9495 - that was in a main dealer a year ago.

Agree with ~£13k.

Where do parkers collect there data from? Looking at autotrader hardly anyone sells private on nearly new cars anymore, they either trade or WBAC. Have you looked at the the WBAC price? I've never spent that much on a car but I don't think £1k less than a dealer would motivate me to buy private. Admittedly I'm sure if there was a problem the dealer could give you the runaround, but there would be some legal avenues open and it would be reasonable to persue it on a 2yr old £14k car. As a buyer looking at private sellers id be looking at WBAC price plus a few hundred, but then maybe I'd miss out on it?

You pay more at a dealers for sure, and with a 63 plate or something you will also be getting proper warranties, a proper pre-purchase service/check and peace of mind, so I can see why you would opt to go to a dealer to spend £13k on a BINI over a private seller.

Tough position to be in, really. WBAC can really take the pisscuit sometimes.

I know it goes against the grain a bit here, but the supplying dealer might be worth speaking to.

If it's low mileage and got the right service and warranty packages, it sounds like something they'd jump at to retail.

Mrs H has now driven the mini to ours, it's pretty clean with only 16k on the clock.

We've subsequently found out that the supplying dealer had recently offered 12250.
