Gold Wednesdays, follow up to Orange Mondays...Twingo a go go

OK so my out of control buying habit has struck again.

How could I resist, its just minty fresh and 28,000km from new. Just had a £650 cambelt service and MOT as well, just need to finish the registration process off. Should be straight forward, I have done it for older cars before.

A grand well spent?

Definitely. 8)

I would kill those door reflector things with fire though...

Yes!

Parisian racing bronze looks amaze. I like the exposed interior paint. Much like a Lupo, only better and with greater style and flourish.

Go to top of class.

Are you buying everything orange (-ish) that pops up in the EBay thread?

Nigel Bickle has yellow, I claim orange, any other takers for other colours?

Very nice.

I looked at this myself (only half seriously) What put me off was the NOVA side of things.

Isn't bad stuff supposed to happen if the paperwork is not sorted out immediately after import?

Still, get that sorted and that is a sweet little thing you've got there!

Not a Rennaux fan but like these original Twingo's, shame we don't see many over here. Don't particularly want a Clio but would have one of these even though they are the same difference mechanically.

That's because they never made a RHD version. Is this the one that was on Ebay?

Also, £650 for the cambelt? Is it that much trickier than the Clio? Or was there other work like a major service in with that price?

I actually like Twingos (apart from the colour of this one) and this is a reasonably well spec'd version.

I realise that! What I meant was you don't get many imported from the continent over here.

I saw that on the ebay thread and thought it looked a cracking buy, even "unregistered".  Proper French basic transport with style, unlike its two successors.

Something like that is surely collectible in that sort of condition.

28000km converted to miles is effectively delivery mileage, nes pas?
