My CX was AMAZEBALLS x ELEVENTY in the snow. Even with a wood burning stove in the boot. In which it fitted without me needing to fold the rearmost bench. It was like trying to park Buckingham Palace though.

They're awesome in snow. Unless they have ABS. In which case, you simply will never, ever stop, but you'll get a nice foot massage as you die (actually, I don't recall it doing the pulsing thing. Just a noise, and inexorable progress).

It's a shame the Ssangyong Musso, Korando and Kyron are only 5-seaters as they're all funky-looking things. That leaves just the Rexton with 7 seats - but probably not enough boot space in that configuration...

Just realised the Rodius is/was available in an AWD stylee. Go on, treat yourself...

In West Oxford Motor Auctions tonight there's an 04 LWB Merc Viano fresh from West Sussex Constabulary. So what? You may say . But, this ones a 3.2 pez drinker , also not got skinned cow so potentially very cheap.

My brother is there trying to buy a Rangie and I've told him to get the Merc for me if it's cheap. I don't even know why I want a 120 mph 16 mpg minibus, so it could well be for sale quite soon if I end up with it!

Update on Pez Viano- the fecker made £5,000! My limit was £2,500. Either the diesel backlash has started or there was a Posh Brummie waving his hand in the air like he was objecting in Court.

It seems anything ex-Police makes stupid money these days 07 TDV8 Rangie 56k miles made £15k plus indemnitys and fees- you could buy one from a dealer cheaper.

Anyone fancy buying my Series 3?  I could not really justify keeping it if I get an old Disco.

1976, petrol, approx 95,000 miles, Fairey Overdrive, auxiliary dials (not connected), wiring for radio (radio available, not fitted), decent Maxxis tyres, two spare tyres (one spare wheel, on bonnet), proper wing mirrors, tow ball, no corrosion advisories on last MoT (Next due Feb 2016).  Brakes need adjusting (work if double pumped).  Newish front seats, all with seat belts in front, four seats in back, split tailgate/loading deck, cloth headlining, vinyl door cards and soundproofing foam (not currently fitted) .    Driver's door needs attention as window mounting a bit loose through age.  Always starts and runs well.   Tatty looking, which suits it.   NO checkerplate, snorkel, roofrack or other OLLI bollix (unless you count the auxiliary dials, and they don't work).   Tax free next year.

I dunno: £1800?

I'm a closet OLLI, I mustard mitt.

If I had an excess 1.8 tons lying around, I'd be in.

Sadly I don't, so it'll be the 13 for me, please.

Weak, TEH Junkman, very weak, you have disappointed me greatly - money is fleeting, but a Series Landy is forever, so buy it, buy it NOW!

(I'll have number 24 please)
