4.33 Euros the problem is the P&P 12.90 Euros. I see CX-Basis in Holland most years, if I go this year do you want me to get you one?

thanks for the link to the page.

I imagine i'll be ordering a fair few things off them at somepoint so I can tack it onto the order. however if you are going over it may be worth either a klist for you or for me to visit too:)

For several years now I have visited Holland at the beginning of May to attend Citromobile which has been a great show! Usually it has taken place with the English Bank holiday that reduces the number of days off work needed but in 2016 it is the following week 7-8 May. Also in 2016 is the Citroen International held every four years and in Holland for 2016. The International looks expensive with only 4 day tickets available at 120 Euros and I fear Citroenmobile will be reduced so I am not sure what I am going to do at the moment.

DMB Graphics could also make up the oil cap sticker. Just email them a photo and dimensions. They done the dealer sticker and tax disc holder for my GS.

I've rejoined the CX ownership club. It was inevitable after driving one again. I shall be studying your tidying of the OHV with more interest now to make mine good! ;)

Ha! Think I'm more just tidying up as I go along - few years worth of neglect to iron out before I start using her, but a plan is forming!

thin facebook lot look like they may be useful spare parts and advice wise:)

I am joking with a bit of added jealousy!

I keep my CX2500 taxed and out of winter storage to have a new head lining fitted and a s/h replacement heater control, the headlining is done but I am still waiting for the heater control to be fitted.

The side effect is I have been able to use the CX a bit and have really enjoyed having it available this winter.

I knew you were joking:)

As soon as I can get it started I can get the alternator sorted and get it used!

Good work!

The initial cover was not too bad. I used soapy water plus a pot scourer, then dried it off before using a wire brush.

it's not perfect but it is a lot better!

Looks if you are having loadsa fun. I had to do the same when I got my GS however, most of my issues were due to inactivity over a few years. It was a great way of getting to know the car. Taking the fuel tank out and cleaning it was murder though.

Have fun.

My CX has sprung an LHM leak - probably from a return pipe as it doesn't appear to be coming out under any pressure.  If it'd stop fugging raining for five minutes I might be able to work out exactly where the leak is coming from  - at the moment it's dripping rainwater from pretty much everywhere.  Impressively, the LHM has managed to make pretty rainbow patterns in the puddles on the pavement, despite the car being parked on the road offside to the kerb and the leak being on the nearside.

I fed it with the Alfa

then attempted to drive it to the unit so I could start on the Alternator bolt..

Which started well

and then turned into a PITA as it sprang a fuel leak and poured 95RON all over the joint..

It seems to be leaking from the fuel line into the filter (helpfully hidden behind the horizontal coolant pipe in this pic..

I think a flatbed beckons to get it to the unit!
