I have been dossing around on the greek island Kos for the last couple of weeks.

When I wasn't lying on a beach, drinking beer, lying on a beech or drinking beer I spent some time tat spotting, I didn't have to look too hard to find any of the below in Kardamena.

This Opel Kadett belonged to the local popcorn seller, I did mention to him that he owned a nice car, but I got some weird blank looks in return

I had one of those mitzi lancers.

 

1985, B reg 1.5, dark blue with a light blue cloth interior..

 

Inner wings rotted to nothing and the gearbox went pop, swapped ithe box out from a nearly new deawoo something or other for peanuts then bought a mini so sold it as scrap to some Asian gentlemen for the panels to replace those that were crash damaged on one they owned.

 

The last I heard, via the met police nip letter, it was taxiing in London!!!

Great spotting as usual - I'd say this was a strong contender for holiday spottage thread of the year (if we could be arsed to do awards).  

 

All that kwality tat, Kardamena must be twinned with Southend.
