My dream is to fit the later 2.5 4-headed monster to an SD Turbo for more torque than a V8, or the 5-headed monster out of a Grand Cherokee 3.1 TD. Mmmmm....

Cool design, a lot like the big diesels of the 20th Century, all very modular. Need more power? No problem, swap the crank and bold a few more cylinders on.

They are gear driven, aye, like an Indenor diesel it's an industrial diesel at heart designed to plod away with minimal maintenance.

4 head gaskets but I think you can get a one piece set.

Bottom end is a bit special too: crankshaft with 3 mains slides into block from one end.

The one I saw being done on a jeep last week had 4 heads but one gasket ! Bit silly I thought
