well, a bit of a lurker really as i've been looking in quiet often :P

shite seems to follow me around

my present car is a BMW 318is, in the five/six months that i've owned it, it's cost me double the price that i paid for it

the latest ailment that it suffered was a blown head gasket, £400 later and i'm just wondering what will be next....

anyhow, here's a pic of a car that i ran for a year but it almost got me in bankrupcy court (the greedy git!!), it would pass owt barring a petrol station

2600cc straight six toyota crown custom estate.

this one was chassis number 0000000000000072, quiet san early and rare car, i finally evicted it from my garage about six or seven weeks ago!

sorry for the crap pic

it's not gone to the scrappers, it's actuallu going to be restored by a chap that's really into old cars, he sent me a message last week that he's taking out the 4M lump and fitting a turbo'd supra lump in it's place  the crown had been in our family from being about a year or so old (can't remember exactly)john :P

Phew, I had a horrible feeling that the banger boys had gotten hold of it! One of the top cars in my 'one day' list.Saw one of those in Oz with Supra power. Fantastic toy! Please direct him here or to RR with a build up thread!

Oh my lovin' the Crown!MG Midget has rubber bumpers and was made by BL, so easily qualifies as Shite! :D (though I've driven one myself and despite the Triumph engine, which isn't exactly zingy, they are huge fun for a little car).

Greetings from 20 miles down the road. What does the other guy plan to do with the original engine? I'm after something interesting to re-engine a 4 cylinder Land Rover.....................I wonder.......

Anyone who's owned a Crown Custom Estate is a top geezer in my book! Not so sure about the Midget though but each to their own & all that  Welcome to the site.

albertthe chap that had the crown is coming round to ours (hopefully) at the weekend for some spare parts, i'll ask him about the engine, if he wants to get shut of it, i'll get his number and pass it on to you through pm  john :P

wow. I was half expecting the front end to have rotted off it :)Interesting to see how the garage has deteriorated over 16+ years though. :)
