Behold the karz!

It dun goed passed an MOT this mornings and then promptly expired outside the gates of the garage..

problem now solved though!

it was treated to a rare old clean. A venerable m10 fed via a weber carb is attached to a 4 speed autobox.

I really like these, especially with 2 doors and those bottle top alloys.  That one looks uncommonly low on rust, too - well bought.

(I'd want two more cylinders and the earlier chrome bumpers though, being a picky bugger.)

I'll be dissapointed if the SVM cannot give me

Airport

Bus service number

Date of last inspection and

Name of the driver's dug

based purely on the colour of the handrail.

At least Andy cms came back with an answer seeing as I'm not a busman any more. Airport grade road based passenger conveyance solutions weren't my forté anyways.

Left Hastings at 11am yesterday, and enjoyed the many and varied delights* of the a21 before heading onto the m25.

Got 1 junction of clear running before hitting traffic- which also showed that the viscous fan coupling was not fully funcioning.

this meant funtimes sitting being roasted by the heater when doing under 30mph.

The m40 was reasonably clear until it neared the m42. By this time resentment at the non radioing radio was only beaten by the determination to avoid listening to the sole Smiths CD that was present.

Off the m42 I opted for the m6 toll-super clear happy 70mph cruising for some time at last.

Junctions 14-17 of the m6 were their usual joyous selves with miles of tyailbacks for no discernable reason.

I kept my shoe in and aimed for Tebay, arriving about 7.40pm. I hit up a chicken pie and coffee then bedded down for a kip o the back seat.

woke up at 9.33pm so had a rapid fuel stop and got on me way.

The final run in was a doddle - 136 miles in 2hrs ftw!

lets see what I boughts-tis niiice:

I like them both, tbf, but for different reasons. My love of them ends with the E36. Nothing after those really blows my hair back.

Taff has no significant cranial hair. Eyebrows don't count, nor does nasal hair. I don't care to consider other hair locations.

also have another shot of the soviet spec building

That looks like some of the mysterious and crumbling buildings in the older, darker corners of Sofia airport...

Any shiter heading past Cannock on any road is always welcome for tea, sympathy, tool-passing or - if needed - kipping space.
