One good thing about eBid is their support. I sent them a message earlier asking if they could change my username for me. 27 minutes later they emailed me to to tell me it was done! Not bad! I've started listing shite on there and will continue to do so for the next few weeks. If people start listing stuff it'll get going. It's the only way.

Ebay are priceles...I won a couple od items locally off same seller so went to "ask a question" to get a time/address etc. only to find Ebay have now put an answers page there saying I need to pay for the item.No options or alternatives, just pay up. :x Idiots... one says collection only so I'm buggered if I'm paying with Paypal when it's collection and buyer put they would accept cash.Had to ask on a seperate auction they have.

Ignore it, it's an automated email sent out by ebay not the seller. The deal is between you and the seller and whatever agreement you came to stands. I think that there is a way of contacting him directly through the end of sale procedure to let him know you will collect and pay cash.

Scroll down, waaay down, beyond the stock answers, there is an email button down there, off the bottom of the screen. Honestly.

BEWARE, if the item is not paid by paypal, or marked as paid by the seller within 4 days, eBay will now consider it an 'unpaid' item, regardless of what agreement you have reached with the seller. 2 of those and they kick you off. Twats.

I have a moral ebay dilema. I BIN'd a rare old Z31 Turbi suspension arm as an upgrade for the S12 but have found a pair locally. Normally I'd do the right thing and see it through but it's £70 (total) and it's not like the seller can leave a neg against my name......Hopefully the seller will agree to a refund of listing fees and maybe a little beer money ?

I just hate it when that happens it boils the blood when someone presses the bin button then sends an email trying to get out off it.but once you have bought it you should stop looking as the item youve bought will apear for a better price elsewhere. moraly i would pay up and then resell the item myself but if the seller is willing to do what you suggest then your off the hook.

Maybe I'll just buy it and tell the local dude to hold on to the duplicate. The local dude is one of those "Wheelnut" listings so shouldn't be a huge problem.

I wouldn't have even considered it a couple of years ago, though.

Oh that's the other thing. I try and deal with people registered sort of around 2001-2004 as they're the old school from when ebay was still pleasent.

The price isn't the problem btw. These arms are so hard to find it's just sod's law a pair turned up locally at the same time, after two years of looking. Maybe I should have all 3 and get a spare ?
