How's your car coping with the weather?

Saab is fine. I went for a drive in the sun earlier.

Astra is not fine. It seems new cars have crappy aircon so as not to strangle an already lifeless engine. If it's 25ish outside it's OK, but today it was barely taking the edge off.

Mr Moog`s old 405 cares neither for hills, nor for heatwaves.......post-19511-0-01330400-1435786008_thumb.jpg

Took the Standard out after. No temperature guage on that but no steam either so reckon its ok :)

Black car with a black leather interior, no sunroof and air conditioning that doesn't. Might need regassed or hit with hammers or whatever it is that mends these things as it's very warm indeed, even with open windows and fan on its maximum speed.

Other than that the Carismerable has been faultless, though the steering has gone quite heavy.

The dual zone climate control in the Punto is doing an excellent job of keeping the inside lovely and cool, the crankshaft oil seal is doing a excellent job of giving me whiplash by leaking all over the clutch and make it judder like the engine is about to rip itself out. I'm starting taking off in second to try and calm it down. I really haven't got the time to take it all apart and replace the seal and the clutch so I've ordered a bottle of Forte seal conditioner, fingers crossed!

Rover P4 temp started to creep up after 45 minutes stuck on the M25 on Tuesday. Previous P4 with 2.5 tdi coped whatever the heat without ever needing electric fan on, which tells you where all the fuel goes on old inefficient engines. Interior was better than modern offerings though, small windows are a big help.

roared into work with the roof off this morning, while other commuters sat in the tin-tops I blasted by enjoying the wind in my scalp. The F remains resolutely reliable, time to get the X on the road I suppose.
