There is the 'ebay bargains' thread   :-D

My private collection of cars are known to be among the very best available

maybe use it as a UBER taxi

It may be museum condition but that doesn't excuse you from advertising like a a cunt.

Lovely taxi but not 14K's worth.

No offence, and it's just my personal opinion, but I don't reckon we need anymore 'for sale link' threads.

According to the vendor, the RRs Phantom, Ghost and Wraith are all illegal for use in Switzerland.  O RLY?

This has been around for a while, and at 14k it'll be around for a lot longer

New cars with suicide doors became illegal after 01-01-1961 in the entire German speaking world, unless it was a carryover model from before that date still being produced

(Lincoln was lucky, having introduced the suicide doored Continental in Autumn 1960). Manufacturers still producing such carryover models were allowed to sell them until 01-01-1965.

After that, it was definitely finito once and for all. You will notice, that even the Rolls Royce Phantom Vs and VIes built for the Teuto-markets had no suicide doors,

W100 Pullmanns had suicide doors only on export models.

Post '65 suicide doored Continentals and Thunderbirds required single vehicle approval with exception permit and never had a proper type approval. The numbers imported reflect that.

Some private importers not in the know were quite surprised when they suddenly faced a 1,200 Mark SVA+EP bill to get their cars on the road.

That the new Rolls Royces can be sold with suicide doors is due to the fact that the rear doors are protected against accidental opening from the inside when the vehicle is in motion.

The RX8 was allowed to be sold because the rear doors can't be opened as long as the front ones are closed.

It's amazing that these were still over the place in the early 00s, thought nothing of it at the time but they look truly ancient.
