I always found places like Belgium and Switzerland with little indigent car manufacture to be extremely interesting in the 60s/70s/80s. Tax and duty rates were pretty favourable leading to all sorts of Yank chod - I remember Basle being full of Chevy taxis for instance. Was always disappointed as a kid though - never did see an Apal or a Monteverdi on home ground!
