Pillock Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Went here on a whim, they'd been advertising it with loads of drift weapon YO pictures, and promises of mega-fast racing happening. Pleasingly, there was more chod than shiny, and some of the shiny was nice too. Most areas of the city centre had stuff parked up, and then they'd closed off a few junctions of the inner ring road for sprinting. See below for pictorial representations. Formula Autos Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 OOF! OOOOF! OOOOOOOOOF! Seth's? WTF? Looks as though a Marcos has mated with an XJS. And that they were cousins. Skizzer, Sudsprint and alf892 3
Pillock Posted May 31, 2015 Author Posted May 31, 2015 Someone walking past remarked it was a Banham XJS. However, someone else walked up to an Austin 1100 and said what a nice Morris Minor it was, so..... You know. Salty pinch. EssDeeWon 1
seth Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 I WOZ THERE. And we had an excellent family day out what with car things, exhibition of children's TV from 1948 on, Coventry Watch Museum etc. Magnificent Rustbucket 1
Pillock Posted May 31, 2015 Author Posted May 31, 2015 Also, apologies about the shocking pictures. I was going to blame my new phone (or the fleshy bit working it) but the originals are fine. Looks like Tapatalk is compressing them like buggery.

EssDeeWon Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Some great stuff there, like a shiney shitefest. That Dolly looks lovely, and a shame the shiney red RS Turbo has the wrong front bumper.
strangeangel Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Lovely stuff, especially that little (by their standards) Yank camper
D Spares & Tyres Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 any idea why the swift / justy was on axle stands?? Magnificent Rustbucket 1
Lord Sterling Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Hey! I didn't even know this was on. It's for this reason I really need to get the 820E back on road.
seth Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 My photos here if you're interested. http://s198.photobucket.com/user/sethke/library/Classics%2015/CovMoFest
