What cars to bring back from USA to make cash monies ?

If you want to make some serious money go for something where there is a market which isn't very price sensitive. My ideas, firstly early (up to early 60s) beetles in restored condition and secondly pre 73 muscle cars with a decent spec, which would give middle-aged owners with spare cash and not much time an entry ticket to the Goodwood Revival car park.

Have you thought about bikes ?  There's quite a few early British bikes, completely original but not seen the road for years available here for resto. Remember cash in fist during price negotiation is always a powerful tool.

I'd say the market is saturated with American shite, most of which really doesn't sell well here. There are one or two things I'd consider repatriating to European shores if I was going to import which I'm not.

Citroen DS'S, there's a suprising amount of them in the states, often unloved, unwanted and low prices. Lancias have taken my eye in the States too, prices are lower than here and Americans seem unaware of them.

Loads of Fiat 124 Spiders. Including turbo variants, IIRC...

The 124 spider has never been popular here whereas the Americans took to them straight away. Single handed 10 second hood, twin cam, 5 speed, pininfarina looks and the British prefer MGBs.....
