supplier of stainless nuts and bolts

I'm hopefully not going to have the UMM in bits for long and I'd like to renew some of the nuts and bolts as I put her back together.

I've all but run out of M8 and M10 stainless nuts and bolts and wonder if anyone knows of a decent online supplier of such items - not screwfix, who seem to have forgotten they were once a cheap supplier of nuts, bolts and screws and who seem to have become more expensive and supply such things in small quantities and not in big boxes, like they used to.

I simply look on ebay to get an idea of prices then google for five minutes. Often, ebay is reasonably price-competitive for these sort of things. At least they were a couple of years ago.

Not sure if BAPP is online, they have a few branches in the UK, perfect for bike stuff and car chod

screwfix sell them... usually " they'll be here tomorrow .."

screwfix sells packs of ten - they've turned into B& effing Q! £4 for 10!

I want to buy a box of 250!

ta everyone.

Having moved to the country, I don't use screwfix anymore as it isn't on the way home from work. I hadn't realised how utterly utterly crap they had become. You can't get boxes of things anymore, just small amounts at extortionate prices.

Aye. BnQ should have become more like Screwfix of a few years ago.  I still use Toolstation, though.

B&Q and screwfix are the same company are they not?

Yup. Only difference is product delivery. Screwfix is still like Argos, B&Q you still have to bloody walk around the store trying to find stuff that isn't in a logical place. BALLACHE.

my welder was telling me of a place in Stonehouse, which bearing in mind I need a nut for my new track rod end, may be useful to visit.

I use James Gill Fastenings.  Nice people and cheap.

Campbell try Toolstation, I bought 100 s/s nuts/bolts in M8/M10 etc, they're about £2 for a bag, surprisingly cheap.
