Autojumble was browsed. I couldn't find an 11mm spanner the other day so two were bought along with a 7/16. Also a front apron for a series LR and some hub seals and stuff that were in a box of assorted LR spares. Best was a Dewalt battery gun with two batteries and charger in a case for £20.

I've never looked at battery power tools at the car boot. Always been scared the batteries are fucked and it's scrap as battery's cost a fortune etc

 

May have to have a go if they could be OK...

Yup, I've been had regarding the batteries, they seem ok initially but run down very rapidly, especially the old NiCad ones.

Besides most power tools are so cheap new now it's a false economy.

Good work Capsuleboy that's a very respectable haul there... I rarely bother with boot sales these days. I know I should be arsed but far too many dog-shit encrusted fields full of screeching mums selling multi-coloured plastic landfill. Have had some stupendous bargains but sooner have me second cup of tea in bed these days, TBH.
