Scruffiest Citroen GS gets new MOT

I pumped up the flat tyre, added some new tank tape over the rusty door bottoms and took my Citroen GS for an early MOT today (now MOTed 8th Jan 2016), just a few minor item, brake lights did not work, battery insecure (exactly the same as it was last year when it passed), wiper blades not clearing screen (they are right with this mornings low sun the screen was opaque at times), washers give up on the way over.  The big problem was the alternator failed but thanks to the Citroen specialist I took it to, I went home able to use the lights!

In spite of its dreadful appearance it drives very well and now we have renewed the heater connection tubes I can even use the heater without getting gassed!

I need something to stir my porridge with, maybe if I bring my GS to a show next year somebody will give me a wooden spoon!

What a wonderful car,

Great news on the test,  hopefully we'll see more of it in the new year?

It doesn't look dreadful, it looks win-full!

If that GS doesn't 'stir your porridge' I don't know what will.
