Some things that I have seen, and taken photographs of

Here we go...I thought I'd try a bit of semi-organised shite-spotting, while I have my camera or telephone at the ready.  These are some recent snaps.  They're probably not desperately high quality a.) because poor photo-skillz, and b.) because cameraphone.

Recently, I took a trip to Hampshire - there by train, and return by car.  I saw the following:

A red Accord and slightly-less-red Polo.  The Accord was in B+ condition, the Polo a middling C.

Citroen AX on a ramp.  I didn't see what was being done to it.

Yes, you can haz a pond instead of a convertible hood.  Certainly, in this weather, you can haz it.  post-17913-0-26894500-1416485979_thumb.jpg

On the way to Hants., I saw this small breakers yard on the outskirts of Sheffield.  There was a sad-looking Nissan.  In the background, a bonus Lolvo on a ratty-looking Transit.

At the station, there was an Audi A2 (I've always liked them - clever, weight-saving superminis), and a v clean-looking Rover 75 estate.

That's all for now, folks :)

Yay, we like spottage (well, some of us anyway).

That's early for a facelift breadvan Polo.

The road in Chesterfield looks like its Whittington moor

I think it was Chatsworth Road (I was en route from Buxton to Lincoln), but I could be wrong :)

This is the mega-rusty offside view of a P-reg Polo 1.6GL, with automatic transmission. Top of the range in its day, but days numbered now. I've not seen galloping rust like that on an MOTd car before.

Edit:

The front of the Polo's sill was EVEN WORSER

The following pictures are of an OMGABOMINATION: a Corsa B wearing Clio wheeltrims (I think). Just wrong.

And just to restore equilibrium and inner harmony, a tidy Merc 190. They look like really small cars now.

That Talbot on a trailer looks like CyanideSteve of this parish. I'm sure he posted a picture of it himself in his recent round up of what he'd been picking up .

Other Shiters have in the past spotted ,either knowingly or otherwise, fellow AS alumni. Perhaps there could be a compilation thread.

Bit late I know but good spot on that Kaiser Manhattan (yank tank) - not many of those over here....And I can vouch that 190Es ARE small - our friends have taken up yoga so they can get in the back of ours.
