There's only one real solution to this problem.

There used to be a bloke round these here parts in one of those Invacars who'd nip down to feed his horses, with a bale of hay strapped on the back and his wife and dog shoved into the single seater cab bit.

To be honest, it was a relief when the government took it off him and the old fucker finally keeled over and died.

Thats the badger Mr Ramrod. I'm going a bit OT, but how did you find it for space? up front and boot space?

There was discussion in Daihatsu circles that the 1.3 auto's are pretty quick off the mark as well, maybe not 0-60, but 0-40 sort of thing.

For the two of us up front, it was fine, probably about the same as the Ignis we had from new.  So, a small car then really, but one you can park because you can see where the ends are!  In the back, we folded the seats down because there wasn't room for one big case and a wheelchair with them up.  Treat it as a two-seater and it'll never be a problem.  The Kembara has the Toyota engine rather than Daihatsu (the whole thing being also available as a Toyota) which certainly felt strong and nippy around town.  I've driven it on what passes for a motorway in Cyprus, where the limit is 100kmh, and it's perfectly acceptable.  Never took it off-road though...

if you think logical like a jazz or something equally jap SHOULD be a paragon of reliability:-

  • earning brownie points from swmbo
  • save you time not having to fix it
  • leave you with coin to spend on shite due to above

win- win :common007:
