Weld, wob, ignore?

After a hard days landy series bulkhead welding I've noticed it's also pretty much hole above the vent flaps area on the inside. As the bulkhead is a series 3 you can't really see it because of the dash.

Pix? I never really care about the cosmetics of something if it's out of sight, but I'm super wary of rusty bits and especially water traps.

Will it let water in?  YES = FIX

Are you keeping the Landy?  YES = FIX PROPERLY

Can't picture the area. Is it the top of the bulkhead that the windscreen sits on? If so, I would cut out the rot and weld in some fresh metal. If it spreads to the area around the vents, it will be much more awkward to fix.

It's hard to get a photo without stripping out the dash.

Looking in end where heater controls usually are:

Bit in the middle:

Using brain slightly and taking photo of series 2 bulkhead, I think it's this bit, but more like full width.

The ultimate plan is to fix the series 2 bulkhead (needs footwells + door pillars)  and swap it over later. Was hoping to get a few years out of the one that's on, as ball ache changing bulkheads. Surprisingly the top outside face of the series 3 one is still made of steel.
