A friend of mine has just taking over the running of a fairly busy Facebook page and he's finding it almost a full time job to keep it under control.

Gosh. Humberside Polis. I have a bit to do with them in the course of my work, and I have to say, they have their work cut out for them. Any police service that has to cover Scunthorpe, Grimsby, AND Hull is facing an uphill battle.

 

At least they (used to?) have a fleet of Protons in order to do it. Any organization that uses Protons deserves Autoshite's deepest admiration and respect.

They still operate Proton panda-cars, mainly in silver, LPG-fuelled. My kind of police-car!

Like Sandie I skim through the FB page and post infrequently on there, and don't go on every day, unlike here which I'm always finding 5 minutes to see the latest missives and epic tales of awesomeness.

 

Overall though I treat the FB page as a less good "Lazy Spotters' Thread". And I am glad that some people aren't on here, but they'd get bored quickly, because we're far better at not feeding trolls.
