Parts wanted for a 1994 Lada Samara 1.3 5 door

A friend of mine has just bought an M reg Samara 1.3 5 door, and is after a good o/s front wing for the facelift model, front grille and bumpers to start with. Any help would be appreciated. He's also after a set of tailgate badges for it (Samara 1.3 GSX) and the Lada badge

His aim is to make it as near mint as he can for a Lada. It runs well apparently and has a Weber conversion, but its just scruffy cosmetically, and he likes his cars mint. Cash waiting for the parts. Car is in greater London

Felly.

If your mate gets stuck picking bits up from Tom (lada spares)

I can collect them and store, as i only live over the water from him, and regularly get parts off him too.

Not sure what his Samara stock is like, but i do know his supplier is away on Holiday at the moment.

Nay problemo, today its owner was having fun with it, doing handbrake turns etc, says it goes like stink, and is quite fun to drive. Bless 'im. Hoping to pop down in the next week or two for a go myself like

Parts sourced from the Netherlands of all places, got everything bar the badges. There is a firm over there with thousands of Lada parts listed on their site. All brand new stock. Was hugely surprised what they had, car is now in the body shop getting the brand new wing, tailgate and bumpers fitted, then a full respray.

Some of the parts in question that I sourced for my mate, that stereo is the mutts nuts

Pardon the thread hijacking, I'm a fellow Samara sufferer who would be most grateful to obtain directions to the Dutch Lada spares site you mentioned above. Thanks awfully.

p.s. Your friend has impeccable taste.

You have to register with them, but its www.lada-shop.eu . They even take paypal :) Samara bits have lada part no 2108 at the beginning, another useful site is this, which is basically the Samara parts list for the facelift model with the long wings https://www.scribd.com/doc/127538068/Parts-catalogue-VAZ-2109-VAZ-21093-VAZ-21099-car-models-and-versions

We are part of a small club based in Essex on the outskirts of London, search Cold War Cars London on fb, that's us. Every now and again we have meets, with general banter, silliness and food, normally pizza or a BBQ paid for by the host, who owns this Lada, and numerous other Communista cars

Ta very much for the web directions, next stop, obsolete parts scouring.

I'm stoked to hear there are enthusiasts of Eastern European engineering in the adjacent county to mine. Should you venture Suffolkwards, there's always a cuppa & a warm welcome reserved for Cold War Car wielders.

Fanks again.

I'm based in Ipswich :) In the group there are a few older Skodas, Ladas, a Yugo, and some FSO's, meets normally degenerate into hilarity, especially if the insane Polish photographer turns up. The Lada place in the Netherlands is pretty good with shipping too, parts were ordered Friday and were here by Wednesday, and they have been dealing with Lada since the 1970's. I did think we were going to struggle to get the body panels, but they really came up with the goods.

We will be planning more meets for 2015, and some of us will be at the Ace Cafe next weekend for the Red Oktober event

^^ Ipswich eh....A mere modicum of moments away from my Bury basecamp, champion stuff.

I received acceptance from the lada-shop.eu to access their website. All I can say is WOW (and I'm not easily impressed). Have already placed one order with them for unobtanium clips & mounts, I foresee getting a proper factory, not mountney/not shirt button steering wheel for christmas. Thanks awfully again for the directions, mucho magic! :-D

Fingers crossed I can haz my Vaz recomissioned for your 2015 Cold War Car congregations, she's currently out of action with brake bothers. bah.

It's LADAFILTH that site. It's full of what we thought was unobtanium. The parts microfiche thingy helped me immensely when it came to finding what we needed.
