I've been saying that since Haynes Motor Museum... I went in the Renault 21 it was that long ago.

I had a chat to the guy who'd driven this up (my mum had an identical one when I was little and he caught me perving over it). The bodywork and paint is original - it'd been sitting at the bottom of a garden since the late 90s, bought for £50, had the moss jetwashed off, undersealed and that's it. I am incredibly jealous / incredulous.

Yes it is the same one. I think it stands to reason that it hasn't changed - its perfect as is.

The fella who owns it is really into Italian cars but bought the Mazda because of it's Guigaro styling. It's in top condition and i think is going up for auction later this month. I expect it might make some pretty strong money.

 

There was a gorgeous Mazda RX2 there as well which had been imported from Belgium.
