Local lidl today had aerosol cavity wax £4.95 a tin. Bit of a bargain I think!

Excellent! I'll have a look in my local one as soon as I can :)

Had a swizz with it already, goes on nice and fluid, not like finnegans waxoyl aerosol. True test will be if the mondeos sills keep rust free...

They had body Shutz also same price plus zinc rich primer for £2.49 that stands 250 deg c. Could be ok on the exhaust I wonder

Sounds perfect for the insides of doors and tailgates :)

I bet it's the same as Lidl low calorie mayonnaise

^That's not bad for box sections but is rubbish as a general underseal.

I can confirm this. I just used it in a club sandwich and I couldn't taste the difference.

I've just got some of the silver grey rim paint. Hopefully it'll make the merc's wheels a little tidier.

Just bought the four cans my local branch had in their rack. It's made by Henkel, so it's most likely quite good at what it's meant to do:

It will go inside the Volvos' doors at some point :)

I've just slapped two cans of it into my daughter's Rover 100 (I know a bloody Metro when I see one). There's one of their cans of Shutz on the thing, too.

It went in well enough and dripped out of the seams, so hopefully will protect nicely. I'll know in about 3 weeks if the rust starts!

Got some myself on way home....It will do nicely for topping up the treatment on the doors and about 3 times cheaper than Bilt Hamber.   I would be less keen to use  it as front line defence but as its all been done already last year it wont hurt this time....

Also their zinc paint is just the right shade for wheels with a clear coat user the top.
