A couple of us have chipped in for a yard in burntisland to fill with our shite cars, it's quite small  with room for maybe 6 cars. We have power and running water and will mainly be using the place for welding and maybe storing a couple of cars.

 

 

 

 

 

We may need some help obtaining materials such as corrugated iron or steel fencing, our plan is to build a lean to or cage in order to protect stuff from vandalism etc. Any Fife shiters able to help out?

 

 

 

The yard is right next to a housing estate and public footpath, we need a deterrent to stop people from trying to vandalise out stuff, you know how people can be about a bunch of old cars etc. The yard isn't easily accessible to vandals but it won't stop people from throwing shit in.

 

 

If anyone could help out with anything we'd be willing to do some Shite welding or if anyone is interested in chipping in and using the space let us know...

 

The owner of the land has a steel workshop that he's going to erect a few months down the line but for now I'd like to get temporary shelter in place etc.

It's only the wall to the right that people can throw stuff from , on the other side of the rear wall is a railway track and the left is another yard 10 feet below...

I'd make gentle inquiries about how you might oil the wheels in that direction.

Finished welding together our anti ned lean to cage then the guy from the yard next door shattered our dreams by telling us the people who live close by are a bunch of thieving vandal scumbag ned kids and will take absolutely anything that isn't bolted down and will destroy everything in their path.

 

Packed up our stuff and left...

 

Does anyone know of a better place in Fife or Kinross where we can work on our shite in peace?
