Well the old MOVE went to pastures new after the LEJOG drive, but never fear a new MOVE has arrived...

Its a 5 speed manual, not heathermillsomobile.. Gearstick wobbles like nothing else (I think a spring is missing somewhere) but in terms of performance its a huge leap up form the shagged out one i just owned. I don't have electric windows nor do I have Central locking but get this I got myself AIR CON! and it works.

Condition wise its as clean as a whistle, arches mint, found two dents on the bonnet (shame) and one on the rear door. one stone chip on the rear door and some weird scratch on the rear roof spoiler, otherwise its almost like new.

Alloys from the old Move will be fitted ASAP, and a wash and wax maybe needed.

That roof spoiler looks like a carry handle.

Anyway, it looks great, it seems odd that it's got aircon but missing leccy windows.

Been thinking about Moves a while now in that red colour. Excellent!

I might play Gran Turismo for real next year. silver Demio, red Move, then a Silvia of some kind.

Reminds me of the one an old chap used to drive about in where I used to live - it was painted in NATO camo for some unknown reason. I always thought it looked kind of cool in a wierd way.....

Where in the world are you? Please can I try out your Move????

You can have a go in the Monza if you wish.

I am not sure if this is some euphemism or not? Either way I am flattered LOL

I'm quite sure I'm gonna buy one you see, still don't know if I dare or not tho, so trying one out would sway me.

I'm down that way for the NEC classic thing, but taking someone else's Lada down.

What's the gear change like, do they take a lot of abuse, and are they as fun as I am hoping round the bends?

I worked for a local Daishitsu dealer when the Move and it's bigger brother,  the Grand Move   were launched.

I used to use a Move + as my company car now and then.

They're quite fun to drive (yes, really) and if you lift the top cover of the air box and from what I remember leave the two rear clips still on, it'll slip back enough to still draw through the filter and keep the filter in place, but because it's a 3 pot and quite enclosed under the bonnet, you get the sort of induction you'd expect from an engine twice it's capacity (allegedly, so I'm told  :-D )  lol

The noise my Charade made under similar circumstance is legendary around here

possibly.
