As you may or not be aware,I agreed to take the 106 with it's mythical abs light off Corsaviour

After parting with my 306 Xsi I've been getting increasing pissed off with getting soaking wet when using the RF for work so been looking for a cheap runabout

Not much to report really, couple of nice cars spotted.

Followed this onto the A41 Tern Hill-Whitchurch dual carriageway

Then caught up with a total Fuckwit driver in a Toerag who took 1 mile of a dual carriageway to overtake 1 of Stobarts finest, only for him to stay level with the cab of the wagon whilst the 2 lanes into 1 merging markings started to appear on the road.

Mrs had to keep me in the car at the roadworks 2mins later

Anyhow, got to sunny Chester after spotting a Lancia Stratos coming the other way(no pic alas).Real or Rep it sounded nice passing us

Got to Billys and parked up within a few spaces of the Maestro van.popped into the local co-op to get some cash and found some "interesting" characters waiting around.....

BIlly comes down and takes me round to his "pitch" to sort out the deal, pointing out the BX,Vectra, ect

Started pissing down so I took off to meet the mrs and find a petrol station

So fuelled up.we trundled our way back home whilst i got to grips with the non servo assisted brakes

The abs pump (yes,it has 1) has def failed so thats a job to do at some point,or a possible removal of all abs system completely

Stuck at the roadworks again

Got home, had a brew whilst we looked the little car over then the boss remembered we needed a bit of shopping

Pulled out behind this and followed for 10 mins

Tidy enough but the door bottoms had seen some work

Please excuse the non adjustable mirror on the 106 !

Happy enough with the car.got it fully comp insured for £136....

Need to get used to no power steering tho, even if it only has 155 tyres on it.

I had a 106 of similar age and loved it until OMGHGF. Delightfully simple things.

Thats the chap !

He looked so surprised when we pulled along side to get another pic that the mrs burst out laughing so I had to put my foot down.......

Looking good :D

Inflate the front tyres to 38psi.  It doesn't affect the tyre wear and makes the steering a lot more manageable  8)
