As far as I know it was somewhat underkill for what it was supposed to do and it seems to have been left, very much stuck, in Antarctica.

Mmmmmmmmmm Munch Mammuts (unsurprisingly, 'Mammoth' in English) , I remember seeing three in a row at a bike show, they were absolutely bloody fantastic. Unfortunately I understand that early ones are starting to suffer from embrittlement of the many magnesium castings used. Phun phact, the engines, heavily modified, were from NSU Prinz cars.
