mnde Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 I've just heard that a GS spotted by someone on www.bxclub.co.uk last year is now for sale at Roy Tolley Citroen, Colchester. It had one local elderly lady owner who kept the car garaged and it only emerged occasionally. She is believed to have been the only owner since new. The garage is of the opinion that it will fail the MOT on rust, but it drives very well and the interior is v g apart from a tear in the driver's seat. They want £500 for it What a beauty!! It's even got a period AA badge on the grille! Cheers, Mark.
Torsten2001 Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Bugger! Just spanked both my cash and my monkey!

500tops Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 I hear this was sold?Mark.Yeh, pretty sure one of the spanner monkeys at Marsh Citroen repairs has bagged it...
trigger Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Thread bumpage! I just stumbled across this whilst googling C matic Citroens, I used to leave near Tolleys so seeing these photos made me smile, what didn't make me smile so much is seeing that this hasn't been MOTed since November 2009, I wonder what happened to it?. It's a crying shame as it looked bloody stunning.
sierraman Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 If the hole in the wheel arch on the last picture is anything to go by, it could be rusted to fuck underneath. If the garage have decided not to put it through the test its likely wanting some serious hours putting in with the welder or its terminal.
