Its the insurance side though my company won't add another car and will cost a lot for a new policy unless its still insured already then I can bring back third party only on my policy

Sadly not - transferred the insurance over to the Volvo.

 

Are those one-day policies you can get reasonable? I took one out to pick up a new car years ago but can't remember what the cost was like.

No ncb and a years licence goes against me on that score.

Diamond insurance - cancel within 14 days cooling off and on £25.

 

Done it 4 times now.

Do the confused.com or whatever. Find the diamond quote, accept it and then just change your mind.

 

All of the insurance companies do it, it's just diamond have only ever charged me a £25 admin fee whereas others charged me for the time used.

 

Worked out a lot cheaper than day insurance.
