I'm pretty sure that 'mountney' steering wheel will have been standard fit by the importers when it was new. I seem to remember them in the dealers when my old man looked at buying one.

Probably true, as per my post about cheap halfrauds stuff as standard.

Cor look at those seats!! Perfect fit n finish on glovebox too. Very very nice. Had good few on these on MOT books years ago. P reg ones with carbs n cats. One year they were super solid, next year rotten as pears. Underseal asap, save some history for our children!!!

Top ride dude.

True.

Our one (1500GL) came similarly equipped, though thoroughly shagged and falling in bits. My fix* of black insulation tape has kept it usable. I did intend to replace it with the proper two-spoke effort but nowt turned up at the time.

Those skirts of yours will be held on with just a couple of self-tappers in the wheel arches, and under those painted bumper skins are a minty-fresh pair of black bumpers.

Ours had also been improved* after import by the addition of a quality* "Lada Care" tilting glass sunroof.

Samaras are full of win. My mate in London is using his as a daily driver, and he owns a Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls Royce etc....

You will deffo have to bring this beast to Epping when we have our first meet mate, it normally involves lots of food, and then a drive round impressing the local Eastern Europeans. Boy did we cause a stir in Harlow last year. Within a few mins of parking up, the locals were coming and asking about the cars. Cyanide Steve can back me up on this

Wouldn't be surprised of this was supplied by a dealer situated opposite the entrance to the Abbey Gardens in BSE. Remember an identical car to this in the showroom when it was new and thinking what an awful colour!

I'd be psyched to tag along with you, just let us know when and I'll be there.

Well, Saturday's MOT came and was subsequently passed with only an ageing CV boot being advised against, TOP DRAWER!

Inspired by KruJoe's "Lada Care" reference I thought I'd better post pictures of some of the bits of paper that came with my Samara.

Would that be Hawkes you're referring to fordnut? As a B.S.E. local I'm very sad to say that it is not, would've been a dream had it originated here.

Supplying dealer was Blue Boar in Norwich.

Mind you, a steering wheel is also listed as an accessory.
