That old 404 pug pickup looked great!

" Patrick Rugg" was offloading several tonnes of citroen, must be having a clear out.

Patrick is retiring from all car related activity incl.  citroen car club organising of meetings.

I've been going here for three years odd now, and prices are definitely on the up. Reserve prices are higher and most things at least beat their reserve, some spectacularly so. The Merc 190D was lovely, but that price stunned me. It's my own fault, 2 1/2 years ago there was a mint E30 316i that I came oh so close to buying. Nothing special, but clearly a car that had been cherished all of it's life down to the glovebox torch and first aid kit still in the shrink wrap. It went for £650 and I've rued it to this day.

That Porsche Team motorhome has been sitting there for six months, it's in a terrible state, but you can't help wonder what tales it has to tell :-)

I do know that generally, traders are getting a bit fed up, as auctions used to be places for traders to stock up, and now people come swanning in paying 'retail' money for stuff.

Some lovely kit for sure and varied too.

Was this auction at the East Anglia Motor Auctions in Norwich?

The exterior shots look vaguely familiar but don't recognise the interior shots - but then again it's been 25 years since I was last there. I went to uni in Norwich and used EAMA to buy cheap cars for flogging on to suppliment my student grant (remember them?), they always had a good selection back then.

I do wonder who bought the Syrena that went for next to nothing compared to the alleged price the museum paid for it from fatty pieman
