classic Riley chod update............

Well the boys at Valleygas have been hard at work. Rear end now in and located on 4 bar, with coilover shocks and Watts linkage. Engine out, new crossmember in on adjustable coilovers, discs, and rack and oinion sterring . New, tuned, MGB 2.1 lump will need a bit of alteration to the sump to fit.

Stiil to do;

New seats [ex Rover 600]

Brake servo

Battery into boot

and a myriad of other little jobs.

You didn't tell us about your project to build a Riley with legs instead of wheels. Will it be able to escape from Daleks by going up and down stairs?

I think the Riley is my favourite mid-size Farina,always wondered why they didn't do a big Riley,it could have had a Healey tune 3.0 to make it a bit quicker than a 6/110 and be called the Pathfinder.

I think you mechanic could have made the effort to put his steel toe-capped white moccasins on as you had the camera out.

Excellent project by the way. The girls need to wear more or they will catch a cold... or I am quite willing to offer a warm hug at reasonable rates.
