Park in a field, paint it in dulux, kill all the spiders inside it, fill it with 40 tartan scatter cushions bought from discountcushionworld, create some marketing bollocks using the words "rustic" and "authentic 70" experience" then charge people who live in city's £80 a night to sleep in it. WIN

I am fcukn stunned. First saw this in the ebay thread.

Thats a Canterbury pop top camper, first registered in 1972 and originally blue/green. It has a comedy electric fan conversion sticking through the grille and the pop top is shagged.

How do I know? I know cos its my SWB, as bought. Not too worried cos she looks nothing like that now.

That pic was taken by me in 2006. PHOTO THIEVING BASTARD!!

So......some chancer is selling a Tranny but its not the one in the photo in his ad??   Very credible seller he must be.....

Strange.

These scams usually involve vehicles even more high-end than a Transit camper...

true, but if he really has got it, even a crappy early transit is worth something. We recently bought a 67 minibus for a grand.

photo theivery is done loads be it a chancer selling someones high end car on a popular auction site then wanting a large deposit via bank transfer or pictures used to advertise cars breaking or even well known vinyl decal companies using peoples pictures without asking to advertise graphics.

wowzer thats a transformation, how much work did it take to get how it is now?

shes fine, it took a couple of months but I am still battling with the headlining. I cant fit a proper one without the lip above the doors, which was removed as part of the camper conversion. Happily Canterbury never changed the log book to 'motor caravan' so basically we just made an honest van of her....

Drag a photo in to the part of Google image search with a camera icon, and you'll see everywhere in the world that photo/image is being used.

ooo thats interesting!

Or if you're using Chrome, just right-click on any picture and "Search for this image". Uses the picture itself, not the filename, so it works even if hosted/resized/renamed.

I looked on his SWAPZ advert for the Transit and did londonrm's magic reverse image search on his other items.

My initial thought was that they would all be scams with poached images. But the other ads seemed to only re-use images from a car + classic seller so I think he is otherwise kosher.
