CJ's Odds'n'Ends 3 - It's All A Load Of Bollocks...

Thought I'd dip my toe back in the water. Given that Parts 1 and 2 aren't making themselves easy to find, and there's getting on for a thousand pics in the Bucket o' Shite, I thought it might be time to release a few into the wild.

Most will have been seen on the FB group, but it's been over a year since Part 2 took a dirt nap, so I reckon it's okay. If not, well fuck it; it'll amuse me anyway...

Started with a Specials song title, so I may as well carry on.

Something_Awful looking suave at the Scotoshite gatecrashed Retroshite meet at the Falkirk Wheel. His 240, RML2345's 740, Mr Fowler's 960 and my V70, in that order.

Glad you have decided to bosh up a few pics again, the spotted threads are cooking in gas atm.

Feckin' ROLLEYES at the DAF badges on the Scanny though, that fits right in with the DAF franchise now, like.. Didn't know Norscot were still going.

Was that p100 in Perth? I know there's a scrap dealer who use a fleet of p100s to carry scrap about, but I've also seen one in the Dunfermline area with scrap metal signage.

Nice pics, I'll have to make an effort to appear at a scotoshite one day. Think I saw that monster* p100 at the Scone yesteryear show last year.

Cheers guys.

The DAF/Scanny caused me a bit of a double take at the time. I didn't even spot it straight away!

It's based in Perth Harbour, near the P100/Hilux mash up.

Some excellent spottery, particularly the Scania. Haven't seen a 3 series T in ages.

2nd Gen T-cabs are definitely in hen's teeth territory! Haven't got any more 2nd Gens, but how about a pair of 4th Gens?

Might as well fling a few more rotten chunks of shite out there, while I'm here!

Chevelle 454SS vs V70 T5. That would be fun, as long as the petrol and tyres lasted!

This car looks uncannily like The Volvo at first glance :D

Yes, the Swedish Army of Solidity has agents everywhere! That sounds like a cue for a few more...

Late 940. Same age as mine, so it's amusing that the four pot 900s outlasted the 850s! It was parked about 50yds from the BTCC rep above, and the V40 in the corner of that pic. There's a Volvo dealer at the bottom of the road.

855 tool eater, which I'd presumed dead, but spotted the other day. Wahey!

Tatty 440 Li that's been circling the drain for years.

There's a very tatty K-plate 854 near me, that keeps eluding the camera. It can run, but it can't hide. Well, it just about runs...

Nice work.

BIG UP THE SPOTTERZ, and suchlike.

Is it wrong that I'm getting most (or moist) trouser arousal from the mis-shapen ZX?

There is a sexual, camera shy 'E' reg 740 estate that keeps giving me the eye round this way. I refuse to update my spotathon until it succumbs to my papping charms. It shall be mine, oh yes it shall b . . . . . .etc, etc.

Aye, right round the Forth - Tay area, they're very popular, all generations.

Even the trucks have topped the sales lists up here, when they don't necessarily do so down south.

don't they build the VLOVO Trucks in scotchland?

I think the AILSA plant shut a long time ago.

Used to build CKD trucks and buses at Irvine. The Ailsa bus was a parts bin special created there, and they ended up with a few modifications to the trucks too.
