very cheap car for sale coventry £275 Now been scrapped.

hi, i am selling my mates car for him. his van got stole last year and he bought this to tide hime over, he has now got another van, so its up for sale as he no longer uses it.

its a peugeot 406 glx 2.0 1996. it has just run out of tax but has an mot, id say probably a good few months. it drives lovely and starts first turn of the key. he bought the car off a friend and had been looked after really well. it has a couple of age related scratches i assume ,but no rust at all.being the glx it has electric windows and mirrors etc, it polishes up lovely. all the tyres are good and it has never let him down. you could run it for a year or 2 and still probably scrap it at hardly any loss.it will need 2 wheel trims , thats about it. he will take £275 for cash. if you want his number then just mail me and i will forward it to you. it will make someone a great little runaround and is really good for motorways too as its really comfortable. the car is in covebtry. 5 mins from junction 3 of the m6.

too true reverend. the times i've had no wheels and all i could find was c**p and expensive cars. if i was in the market now it would be on my drive for 250.

soz guys, i cant believe it, i thought this site was perfect for these sort of cars. i hate to say it but against all my principles im afraid i am going to ebay these cars in the future. a car thats runs like a dream, with 10 months mot. 60,000 miles. and i now know full service history and completely rust free for £250. well its now been scrapped for £140. im afraid this sites is not what it used to be guys.

When selling there's no harm in trying every ave. I always hawk um about wherever possible and have sold from various forums including this one. Ebay still seems to get it out to the widest audience.

If it didn't bother you, you wouldn't be complaining in the other thread. You were gibbering on about 'what a shame' it was that you'll have to weigh it in and \ or sell cars on eBay in the future in another thread This 'wounds' you for some reason. 

 

Just out of interest, how did Autoshite 'used to be'? Was it full of classifieds back in the dim and distant? My memory clearly isn't what it used to be.
