It has been washed and waxed weekly even if not used.  If it did rain whilst out, it had to be dry before going back in the garage, and if it looked like rain, he would leave the car in the garage, and take the bus, or train (which is okay as he lives 4 mins walk from miseryrail northern line, and there's a train from Southport to Hunts Cross via Liverpool, Every 15 mins).

 

If there was the possibility of salt it stayed in the garage, obviously.

Wow man, I absolutely LOVE these well tidy giffer-owned cars. It's always been an inspiration to me to make a slightly sad car look tidy, clean and almost bemish free. Sadly I always seem to end up with wrecks. It's also been an inspiration to keep or add strictly OEM stuff to cars in my possession, no aftermarket crud.

 

That one BANG-tidy car. My parents never bought me a car but if I had been bought something as tidy as that, you can bet that I'd be keeping it looking just as clean.

Remind me to take a picture of this, tomorrow. Son is visiting. Astra has 60k on the clock now. It lives in an underground car park in Harbourne, Brum, most of the time.

It's coming up at 45 quid with a discount code at GSF and 35 quid on eBay, so probably go with GSF

It's still red. I promise I will take photos on Saturday.  I THINK it's done about 65K now.
